so i invite lloyd to come over and eat, but he says that he has to work on his house. a little while later i see lloyd running down the street holding his hand in a towel.
he runs into my house and says that he cut his thumb really bad and doesn’t know what to do. my wife takes the towel off his hand and gags as blood starts squirting all over the floor.
eventually, we convince him that he needs to go to the hospital and i have to drive him. i grab a cheeseburger for the road and we make the trip.
once at the hospital, lloyd is more concerned with how much this is going to cost him than anything else. he doesn’t want anymore painkillers because they cost too much, but he is losing his mind.
